Spending $660 on a new engine for my car, $200 on having the old one taken out and the new one put in (done by my best mates next door neighbour who does it all the time) and another prob $100 on bits and pieces only to have the bloke crank it over dry and seize the oil pump and rip the camshaft and distributor to shreds...

So now I need to put the old one in and get a new distributor for my old motor and replace/recondition the head (which is the whole reason I had to do something in the first place)

The Superway roadworks now occupying my works street. Can only turn into Regency Park from one road (nowhere near my work) and the lights for the new Gallipoli Drive are down to one lane for roadworks as well. What a waste of time and money...

Apparently the section they are doing now is basically a trial and test to iron out any problems for when they tackle they bad parts of south rd. Eg between Torrens rd and Port rd.

South rd between the port river expessway and regency road was one of the better flowing roads in Adelaide. I dont understand the logic. All thats gonna happen is we'll now have the same road we had, but 40m higher, and have to eff around with on and off ramps....
