I know its far from his fault but Brad Haddin's dismissal sums up the twisted arrogance of our team. No pitch conditions can be blamed for that crap.

We should have them 3/4 down tonight, but I'm worried.

Harris and Watto are our only bowlers.

South Africa v Australia 1st Test

Postby the joker » Fri Nov 11, 2011 1:07 am

It also wouldn't be often that a team has a 200 run first innings lead and loses. I took the 4.00 for Australia before the start of play today,

At the moment
Australia 1.80
South Africa 1.95

Despite all the doom and gloom we should win this. If we bowl well it will be tough to make 236.

9/28 when Phillander finshed his 7th over and was given a spell
AU added an extra 19 runs
Will this cost SA victory ?

AU 47
Lyon 14 top score
Siddle 12 not out
26 for the last wicket

South Africa v Australia 1st Test

Postby the joker » Fri Nov 11, 2011 1:10 am

Over there they were all saying that batting will be best on day 3 and into day 4. Which is not good for us now. I honestly thought that we would have had a 500 run lead. If only we took that last wicket before the follow on and pup put them back in

Would've been interested to see the Aussie changerooms at the change of innings. That was a joke!

And whatabout
The Last ball Clarke faced in the first dig, bowled with all 3 stumps showing trying to cover drive

And whattabout
The disMissAL of Kallis trying to hit Watson out of the park 4th ball he faced

Lyon and Siddle played shots and made some runs, no one is having a go at them
Thats the way Haddin had to bat, but he failed

IF
SA play thier shots they should win this in a canter
If they try and play to correct they will prob lose

As funny as it was, it was absolutely disgraceful. Heads should roll. Haddin needs to go. Hughes needs to go.

Perhaps Clarke could have showed a bit more faith in Lyon who is more than capable with the bat.

I think its the walk charge that just made Haddin's look more of a disgrace. And the fact he was put upto no. 6 with marsh injured. And the fact we were 4 or 5 for f... all.

I think ponting will have the NZ series if he fails in the second test and the New Zealand series he could be forced to hang up the bat,

23, 0, 6, 15, 41, 8, 11*, 12, 48, 136, 56, 12, 53, 7, 5, 55*, 6, 30, 24, 0, 1, 35, 30, 5, 0

10 scores below 10.
