There is some truth in that in that slight visual defects can affect the image technology used to induce the 3D effect.Footy Chick wrote:3D is crap because apparently on a small percentage of people can actually see 3D, even with glasses on (like only 17% or something).

Thats exactly what people are doing, paying 2-3k extra so their kids can watch Nemo in 3D.
I'd rather spend the extra cash on a great surround sound system to improve the experience. No point having a good picture if the sound is no good.
