Baliey 32 not out he deserves his spot as a speciallist batsmen :D All jokes aside though he does put great value on his wicket all we need now is a couple of wickets or at least tie up an end with the ball.

Who is going to replace him? No one is standing up in grade cricket. Crosswaithe with take Ludemans spot (surely) and Harris will be back for Dougall. Doesnt leave much :(

I was looking in the paper at the scores on the weekend...doesnt look good. Borgas or J Smith maybe? There were only two players that made hundreds not sure who they were? What happened to Delmont? Will J Lehmann make the grade?

Smith is the man - still may have some chinks in his armour but give him a crack we couldn't possibly do any worse. He proved last year he is capable but obviously not consistent.

Why doesn't he just focus on his batting?
He shows great resilience already and clearly it has been the only strength in his game so far this year??

I watched the majority of the last game and although Bailey was average early he bowled well in his latter spells. We have no realistic alternative so need to stick with him and hopefully he can start landing them a bit more consistency. He is copping a fair bit of criticism considering he shows some fight, something unassociated with SA Cricket for a very long time.

I'm surprised how bad Ludeman is playing, I expect him to get a lot better though. I think he can average 30 with the bat at SS. Lets not throw him under a bus yet.

SA are a pathetic rabble though. We suck at SS, the one format I'd love to be good at. :(

Have missed a lot of talk on here with internet troubles at home, all I am going to say is that Steve Smith's five tons, at least two are against the Redbacks... So effectively three hundreds...

Gee, hope for a bit more application from the lads this second time around, we need Klinger to bat like he did a couple of seasons ago, and allow the strokemakers to play around his anchor.

Totally agree with the Crosthwaite call, Ludeman I rated, and was very happy he got the nod as the first choice keeper, but he clearly is not at the required level yet... I do think he can be a good player, but it is not his time yet.

How long until Dan Harris is back? He can have Blizzard's spot, and they can shuffle the batting order to accomodate...
