Challenge accepted.
Last time I batted I remember smacking deep heat out of the ground, so Tub of Gravy won't bother the great Moeman.
Centre wicket @ 6pm sharp, 6 balls, 12 runs needed. Bring on the pie chucker 8)

Could be worth a look at this one....
Tubs - can't believe you're not backing us - I've got at least 4 good overs in me - if I can restrict them to 30 of those 4 we are a real good chance!

That's the spirit! And my moneys on you in the Moe V Tub challenge - could be the beginning of an annual event - turn it into a charity fundraiser, hosted by Bruce McAvaney?

Coro chasing 206 did so & went onto 274 for 5....Oakey a fantastic 150 not out backed up very well by the Moose Bruce on 80 not out.

Belair had Coro 5 down for 92 with some good bowling/fielding & game could have gone either way but great knocks from the 2 Coro boys saw them home.

Game played in good spirit & both teams shared a beer or two after the game :D

Well played Sheidow. Too good in every facet of the game. We're gonna have to lift a lot against a Coro side that is playing well!

So, the two Robbie's firing at the right time for the big game next week.
The inaugural "David Lee Cup" shaping as a massive day on the ASCA calendar, with our section 2 sides playing each other as well.

I think it is magnificent that this comp is starting to have some major rivalries, and big games becoming the norm week in week out & teams now staying around & having a beer with each other.

I look forward to the COVE Crab cup on 3rd December, & altho I expect to lose my money, I expect Deep Heat to buy me at least 2 Bundy & cola's.

Well done to the Warradale boys in section 2 today who stuck around for a bevvy or 2 after their good win, and I for 1 think that section 1 would be all the better with you boys up there, probably at the expense of South Road ;).

If you are looking for a laugh or 2, head down to Morphie Parks next Thursday night @ 6pm.
I will be facing 6 x balls from Tubby (NO challenge) and 6 x balls from Rob McCard (Long run) for charity.
The charity is? Well I am glad you asked? Firstly, St.Johns....... To pick me up and take me to Flinders & the other is Beyond Blue.

I really feel that this comp is moving forward, and maybe one day soon,my suggestion is, all Presidents, of ALL teams might sit down & work out together, an opus, which we can present to the league delegates to further the development of our league.

Anyways, Moe has had a few, so give a thought if tou want..... 8)

Can't wait!! With all due respect to other rivalries, this would have to be the biggest going around considering the history of the two sides and how the two clubs got to where they are now.
Ramblers need a win after their poor start to the year and we're keen to keep on our winning ways.
Might have a read of the ramblers declaration from last year to fire myself up a bit.

On a side note, it was an absolute pleasure to witness Rahsaan Oakey's 150 not out yesterday off only 113 deliveries. Was one of the most dominant displays I have ever seen!! Might have been 200 if glenelg beach wasn't spread around Gums Oval during the week ;)

Hey lads

This is just an invitation to the Movember Mouse Cup for anyone wanting to come along. The night will be in support of the Movember Foundation and Men’s Health Awareness, with 100% of proceeds from ticket sales and various other fundraising throughout the night going towards this cause.

For those unfamiliar with a Mouse Cup event, there will be five mouse races on the night with four mice in each race. You have the opportunity to purchase a mouse either as an individual or in a syndicate via auctions prior to each race, the reserve for each mouse is set at $100. The winner of each minor race progresses through to the grand final for the chance to win $1,000.

Being part of a cricket club I am sure most of us have experienced men’s health issues either directly or indirectly so it’d be great to see everyone come along to support the cause.

DATE: Saturday 26th November
DOORS OPEN: 6.45pm
DRESS CODE: Race Day
TICKETS: $10 prior to 19th November or $15 at the door
VENUE: Edwardstown Football Club, cnr Raglan Ave and East Tce, South Plympton
