Have heard that he re-signed with the Bears yesterday. If so that is good for Meningie.

I don't have any inside info, but I presume if any did go with Viney, they would be Adelaide based. So for Ramblers, I suppose that would be...Girardi, Sykes, Jackson....

Really worried about Meningie. I understand several players are returning for huge money. Someone like Brunoli simply does not produce but is happy to take the big pay check. With a lack of juniors coming through what alternative do they have but to offer ridiculous money. I find it hard to see how they can remain viable.

Agree. His rumoured paycheck would be top 10 in the league? He'd struggle to be a top 20 player IMO.

How come Brunoli is struggling in that league when he tore Div 1 Amateur league apart a few years back and won the association medal? What is the competiton like compared to Div 1 back in Adelaide?

Also, is Ben Noske still playing at Meningie next season?

Brunoli is yet another so called gun player who has waltzed into this league thinking it would be easy and hasnt had anywhere near the impact he should have.

Plenty of people have rocked up over the years expecting to dominate and have been surprised to find how good this comp is. May not be Div 1 but most teams have alota players that would easily make it big down there and sides like imps, ramblers and mannum over the last 2-3 years would have pushed plenty of teams in Div 1

plenty of great recruits in the RMFL however plenty of locals just friggin love playing for their jumper, can grow a third leg at the right time. Hope Meningie have a fair crack. Tough gig over 2 hrs from adelaide, getting kids back and getting recruits enthused.

Think the Roos would be disappointed in Kennedy's value overall. What's the latest on the Wait to Whyalla rumour?

Wont matter what Ramblers propose, it will get voted down 5 to 2. At the moment the outlying clubs have voted both Imperials and Ramblers to have only 8 points for next year. Under the old system they would have had 10. This is an attempt to even up the competition. Imperials and Ramblers are lucky the proposal was for 8 points. Had the vote been for 5 points that would have got through!!

well the proposal from ramblers would have imps on 8, ramblers on 9 and additions to the other clubs so it does even it up a bit, not sure the vote will 5-2 as you say, but we will see.
