Maybe a few outrights again this round. Not good for the comp that some teams seem to be losing outright every round.......

I've been an advocate for it for the past couple of years, delegates don't like change or don't like meetings going too long.
I'd rather spend 4 hours at an agm getting the results that would better suit the competition rather than 2 hours and walking out with no change.
If you do the same thing over and over you end up with the same result.

Grade 1 & 1R
Angle Vale (B's are in G3, 1st)
Central United (B's are G2, 8th)
One Tree Hill (B's are in G2, 7th)
Parafield Gardens (B's are in G3, 7th)
Rose & Crown (B's are in G3, 2nd)
Salisbury West (B's are in G2, 5th)
Smithfield (B's are in G3, 6th)
Virginia (B's are in G3, 8th)
Grade 2 & 2R
ATCO (G2 2nd, G3 3rd)
Craigmore (G2 3rd, G3 4th)
Eastern Park (G2 1st, G4, 1st)
Elizabeth East (G4 3rd, G7* 1st)
North Pines (G3 5th, G5 6th)
Riverside (G2 4th, G5 3rd)
Salisbury North (G2 6th, G6* 2nd)
Salisbury West (G4 4th, G6* 6th)
It does seem somewhat impracticle, perhaps there could be some incentives for nominating two day sides. I'm not a fan of the one-day comp but I can see it's attraction for those not as dedicated.
I find them too hard to give everyone a decent run for their money, too often, especially in the lower grades that 9, 10 and 11 don't bowl and you get those in the top order are the better bowlers aswell.

It seems like a few sides are taking the option of only having 1 2 day side and 2 1 day sides like Salisbury North have done, maybe they find it easier to fill sides this way, if I had my way my club would not have a side in the 1 day comp as it not good for the younger guys who play in that grade to come up against some guys who are glory hunters!!!

We opted to not field a one-day side this season as we found too many players choosing this option opposed to strengthening our B's to put pressure on A grade spots. It seems to be working for us as we have about 16 players that will be getting looked at for our A's this week.
We have 6 players to come back in this round that will be picked in the top two sides, our B's got away with a win with a mediocre side against the dangerous North Pines.
