i would say he would be, its one of the hardest things to do but if he has good support staff on sidelines that he has faith in then it will be fine. he still has the ability to find the footy and uses it well. would be a handfull for opposition sides when his on, im sure if it affects his coaching then he will look at just coaching from the side lines. goodluck to dutchy anyway hope he does well.

Yeah, absolutely... good luck to him. Definitely a tough way to do it but a great way to get started in coaching if that's what you want to do down the line.

I'm led to believe the coach is doing the job for a can of coke and a packet of chips.

'IF' Bellmen does end up at the units he will not be paid by CUFC end of discussion.

Robran you pretty well somed it up he'll play in patches but the second it effects his ability to coach the side he will be on the sidelines as team succuess is far more important than him playing.

Should it come to it Dutchy may well play in the B grade although i know that is not his preference we'll just have to see how the year pans out.

Correct 2006

Funny thing happened in 2006 when Paralowie visited BOS. Paralowie captain called for a player count in the third quarter from memory. I was timekepeing with my brother in law who was the interchange steward that day. Just before the player count we discovered the fact that both teams had 18 players on the field when they should have both only had 17 due to a couple of cards a few minutes earlier. Well we got summonsed to the center by the umps and proceeded to have the Paralowie players try and convince us that BOS had 19 players on the field. A few minutes of counting and double counting passed by which time we fessed up that in fact both teams had 18 on the field. All agreed to play on. Funny, guess you had to be there!

Only met him twice but he's good fun to drink with. After drinking with him last time at the Woolshed I stacked it over a dancing block that mysteriously appeared out of nowhere.

He is but you would think he could do both, unless he plays "a" grade. ;)
