In the car yesterday and they mentioned that someone from Plympton took 7 wickets in 7 balls. Is that correct?

So if the SAMCA T20 fixture is anything to go by it will be Glenelg ANA Vs Angle Vale and Sheidow Park Vs Central United Ridley Reserve on the 27th of November at 11am. venue TBA. Do we have any info on the ASCA Knock out 20/20. Who will play who, where and when? etc.

Think we find that out November 8th.
Will be played at plympton and south road (2 double headers). South road only side guaranteed where they are playing for obvious reasons

Wasn't a good day. All players got over a hundred and found the beach just about every shot.

Nah seriously i couldn't believe how sandy the oval was. There were some patches that were terrible and some that were alright but it isn't in great nick at the moment thats for sure.

As for Habib he made the most of the opportunities we gave him as i think the rest of the side did. We let your boys off the hook from 4/30 odd. We were ordinary in the field and not much better with the ball but to your guys credit they made the most of that after it could have gone the other way easily. No doubt the total will be a tough one to get this weekend.

it usually is this time of year which is a shame... just not a long enough gap between footy/soccer and cricket...

211 on that oval should be round 250 to 300 on a good ground then????

No saturday was at our ground so according to the sharks that is worth about 50. The T20's were at your ground on Sunday.

I have no idea why he is umpiring low grades, but in Round 1 he did a good job. I guess One good game dosen't make you a good umpire.

As for being a fool I think I have some idea as I have umpired at a reasonable level before being talked into making a comeback to playing. As I said though he did a good job when we had him, but I guess one good day dosen't make a good umpire and you have more than likely come accross him more than me so you have more to go.

Belair 205 M Wegener 94 L Fine 39 J Gillman 25 JD Lourens 4/59 C Norman 3/61 GK Bruce 2/31 v Coromandel

I think Belair will get up here in a close one.
Coromandel Ramblers 123 AR Gormlie 41 T Mitchell 4/32 JR Ball 2/15 K Clements 2/16 v Sheidow Park
0/24

I think sheidow will win this one. Either by 8 wickets or by 1.
South Road 5/214(cc) J Justin 98 C Farrant 63 v Keswick

South Road to get up here comfortably.

Western Youth Centre v Plympton Footballers
212 B Habib 78 S Naismith 46 A Hunt 42* RC Hopkins 4/30 C Wright 2/25 C Allen 2/28 MN King 2/46

I think we will chase down this total but take the majority of the day to do so.
ICC Sharks 100 M Tonkes 30 BM Kinnear 3/24 D Pastro 2/12 K Hughes 2/28 v Cove
4/118 M Thomas 54 D Thomas 34 C Winning 3/35

I think Cove will get up outright here.

Glenelg ANA 0/6 v Morphettville Park 147 DL Rowe 4/46 A Zuvela 3/28

This one is a real toss of the coin. Bays in a thriller.

2 diffrent bloods, i think Keswick will chase down Sth Rds score, and i still gives us a good chance against ANA, we are playing the 12th man rule with R Mc Card, so we will have him bowling.

Yeah i really wasn't sure which way to go with your game. If you guys bowl well then i think you will win but if Basso and Rowe put on a partnership then i think they will.

I think South Road bowl well enough to defend that on Edwardstown oval. I wouldn't see them losing too many games if they made 220 odd batting first at home.

i reckon sheidow will just get over the line 8 or 9 down, keswick also to win but rusty and macca will need scores, wyc to win with 25-30 overs to spare, cove outright and morphies to bowl ana out for 100.

and ill definitely back coro to make 206 on gums oval.

I hope Morphies don't put too much pressure on Rob to have to get them out of this one.
We wasted a good solid start with the bat last week, and ALL our bowlers have to keep the pressure on the ANA batsmen.
Having said that, I do hope Robbie rips thru them and we will then have another "Robbie" to talk about in the ASCA. I am used to hearing alot about the "other" Robbie ;)

It is a bit sad that Tubby is resting up for the big WYC/MPCC David Lee Cup next week. We could use his 3-4 over stint tomorrow. Who knows, he might get one off legside and suprise the batsman, and the fielders 8)

Looks like we are taking the "Brad Ottens" approach with Tubs and only playing him for home matches.
