Mick McCarthy at RSMU apparently.Who is at Blyth Snowtown?

The McCarthy story was in the Sunday Mail. Just on my knowledge of the historical RSMU/Kapunda rivalry this is an interesting appointment that wouldn't sit too well with some at both clubs.

They havent been in the same competition for 20 years so surely this wouldnt be an issue would it?

Oooh. Old habits die hard BC! Bygones are rarely bygones.

Happy to admit that I may have been wrong...

Mick McCarthy looks set to coach RSMU.

Nothing to do with a Kapunda/RSMU rivalry, his wife is a product of the area.

Skip - his wife is from Jamestown....
Riverton and Kapunda play a trial against each other each year, as the clubs get on very well.
I would presume RSMU and Kapunda people alike would approve of this appointment.

I reckon Mick McCarthy is related to some of the Vandeleurs at RSMU? He is an untried coach so all power to him because he was a top player. Simon Goldsmith has the gig at Blyth-Snowtown no doubt.

"Cloak of secrecy" sounds negative. It was kept in house.

Youngy is a hard training master, so expect a much fitter South unit next season. We've already started our fitness program (I'm in a lot of trouble fitness wise).

Well if you can keep up with Benny Seymon and Matty Vandeleur you'll be sweet. Simon Goldsmith's appointment at B-S has been well-received. The young blokes there love him so the Cats should go gangbusters in 2012. Anyone know who is "actually" coaching Eudunda-Robertstown?

Ryan Darling jumped on board an unofficial Two Wells footy trip to Melbourne for the Cox Plate organised by Bugs Thomson.
Bugs had a big win on Pinker Pinker but the signature of Darling continues to elude the Roosters. What a tease that Darling is!
Signed with the Cats again.

Nah couldn't tell you SP, just one of those assumptions I tend to make, but given he's close mates to big ZACERUS I'd be willing to put a small wage on it. Whats it paying SP?

I hear that the Virginia Nursery has offered to hire a certain player from North Clare who has a vested interest in one of the netballers down there. He can apprently play a bit and the Virgine's would love to have his services. Anyone know who this is FFS!
