Most self-respecting footy clubs wouldn't be throwing bags of cash at the Lions at the present time. Quality players are what they are screaming out for and there isn't too many of them at the present time. A wooden spoon is probably proof of that. A change in coach and some hard work will help them this year, then they may have some quality players to have money thrown at.

How's your investigation going SP? found out any names of the Forward about to sign?

Pencil in Ryan Morris to SFlinders and Jordan Warren to BMW

Lee Schmit and Brodie Cox are players that fit this category. May as well put in Darren Shillabeer, Ray Stapleton, Ashley Grantham, Shannon Page, Jarred Reid, Matthew MCGuinness, Steve Wildman, Justin Duffy, John MCKenna and you will have all bases covered. If you put enough names forward you will eventually get one right.

Text Just in Ray Hayes is to be appointed as player coach at West Augusta 2012. Dave Grainger and Russel Ebert are coming with him in the package deal worth $2000 a game. Hang on that ones from 1980's recycled! Sorry

You forgot Brett Hand and Monkey Hellmans. Both returning to Pirie b4 Easter apparently

Matt Hannan, David Hannan, Greg Fiebig are three names who are being tossed around the BMW camp. There must be more though.

None of these would have played under Reddo. Maybe it is Skull and Finlay?

yeah I see your point. Matt and Corey are handy but I don't think Corey would be welcomed back - he might have burned a bridge or two but I don't really know for sure.

Brand will play on and coach 2012 - no worries. And I reckon Dogga will be back!

Dogga's manager Alan Joyce is negotiating with Brand to have the solarium on the clubs liar jet repaired, while I believe Brand is also willing to offer increased $$$ from the gate.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

i could confirm that but that would break alot of clubs hearts who have high hopes of recruiting Dogga.
And the season is along way off, this forum would be bloody boring with no Dogga speculation

Dogga is playing cricket for Angaston (I think) but as of yesterday he is confirmed to be returning to Southern Flinders for the footy season and bringing two or maybe three BLG players with him to share the weekly commute. Copley (Luke?) is said to be in the mix.

J-P is in serious trouble IMO. Up to seven players on the march - no wonder Chris Stacey doesn't wanna coach them. They may finish below Broughton and/or Orroroo

I remember Luke Copley as a gun junior in Port Pirie. Haven't seen him play for a good 5 or so years. I remember him and Dean Christie lining up in the centre square for Ports in the under 18s one day. Looking like men against boys, the opposition were shitting themselves.
