Why would the ATCA not cancel today then like in recent seasons, David Hayzer and Co I though are usually pretty good in that regard, so I guess they think some games are a fair chance to get away, thats the problem when its scattered showers I suppose, some places got it worse then others
While I agree there isn't much worse than having to rock up to the ground when you know you aren't going to play, last year I think they called them off too often too early. Several times last season we would have got away had they not called us off. I think this year they are trying to correct that.
As you say, the rainfall today was quite varied across the metropolitan area. Some grounds could get away IMO tomorrow if conditions are favourable tonight and tomorrow (more so those out north), time shall tell I guess.
I think there is nothing wrong with making the call at 10:30 tomorrow morning, rather than pulling the trigger prematurely on the Friday.
