Trying to watch the Perth v Sixers game on TV, but going to give up now. The refereeing has been so home town biased its not funny. The commentary not much better.

So proud of the lads first half effort. Hope it continues.

What a great win by the Sixers. DJ showed some stuff but loved Crosswell's game and Warren chipped in when needed exploiting the absence of Damian Martin. Perhaps the biggest upset we'll see this season.

For anyone thats interested there is a replay of the game on One Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm.

Have a look at the last 2 mins of the 2nd quarter. Redhage starts an altercation, we retaliate and get a tech and unsportsmanlike called against us. Probably there but what about Redhage. Also there was a ridiculous foul against Ballinger and a harsh charge call straight after.

I thought after those events we were going to get blown away but that wasn't the case which was great. Still on a high this morning.

he walked passed a player and got shoved.

how about the 5 or 6 times redhage was fouled in the key and no call..

the worst one being on the fast break and gets hit across the face and no call... dont give me any bias crap.
the no calls and bad calls went both ways.

i still cant believe 36ers won.
im a perth man first then adel, go for them aginst every team but wildcats.
its amazing the turn around from last week... simply amazing.
they looked good, best sign was ballinger didnt do jack shit and they still won

Very tough refereeing at times, but little paid that wasn't there. The main issue with the commentary was the lack of knowledge of player backgrounds and pronounciations. The voice was very familiar but couldn't pick who it was - they normally call AFL, that much was apparent.

Great win by the Sixers, every time Perth came at them, Adelaide held firm and closed down the Wildcats space to move. That said - at times the foul shooting from both teams was deplorable.

Everyone always complains about the umpires in all sports. It's not the umps that are biased, it's the supporters

Correct. When I sit down and watch the replay later I'll hopefully be able to understand some of those decisions that at the time I thought were a bit rough. Just seeing them through rose coloured glasses as we all do I guess.

Melbourne launching one of the biggest turnarounds seen this season against Wollongong. After being down 42-51 in the 3rd term, the Tigers have moved to 67-53 in the fourth with 5.51 to play: a 25-2 run.

Ayinde Ubaka has been instrumental in the move. Virtually unsighted in the first half, the former Taipan has hit 11 points in the second half, including two big three-pointers.

Ended up being a pretty good game and I've got no idea why Gordie McLeod left Glover on the bench for the first three and a half quarters of the game because he looked impressive in the few minutes he got at the end of the game, super quick.

Good comeback by the Tigers though and good to see Patty jumping off the bench to cheer on Daniel Dillon during the Tigers run.
