Well done LM - great initiative, mate.
People should be getting behind you and making sure that the coverage is the best it can be.

Exactly its brilliant to see PDCA getting almost a whole page of coverage.
Also helps my name has been mentioned twice especially considering my boss doesnt rate cricket as a serious sport and doesnt understand that i do need to be able to train once a week.
keep up the good work LM!

They will begin next week against Atco, will be good as we now wont have players completely missing out on games.

Yeah it will be a real mixed bag, this week we had 3 blokes miss out on a game completely who had trained both nights during the week,
Throw in the fact we have Marty Ryan, Brad 'Jonty' Ryall and Matty Hunt to come back into one of the sides and then two 15 year olds who want to play cricket for EP but dont have a junior side to play in.
Craig Cotton will be taking care of the side and i think playing as well and has managed to convince Jarrad Hughes (opening batsmen for the club in the early to mid 2000's) to return plus a few older blokes whose ability is only really at the C Grade level and they cant commit to train.
Pretty exciting times at EP!
Good on the council as well for asking us when we would like the oval top dressed rather than just dumping it down this week like planned which would have been very unfair for SN.
Will more than likely top dress over the xmas break if we can.

I'm scared that they will top-dress our oval, ruined it last season, it's in the best nick it's been in for a long time atm.
Here comes the rain

Do different teams have different rules?

It appears that way. A captain can request the opposition captain for a sub fielder, the opposition captain is within their rights to refuse though. Just rock up wearing some daggy old whites and walk with a slight limp and you'll probably get the nod.
