I think he would be very handy off the half back line for Adelaide, but I doubt Sando and crew will go for it as they seem to be focusing on the 18-24 yr old age group.

Could be a very handy acquisition for the crows. release johncock into the forward line to play that small crumbing forward, even swapping with the likes of douglas, petrenko through the guts. Add a bit of experience down back to a clearly experience depleted back line.

I could see him playing at Port but not at the Crows as there are a few ageing defenders (Rutten, Johncock,Doughty) already there.

Well it came from his manager, saying if WC or Freo didnt want him, he would be open to playing for one of the SA based clubs. I dont see why the Eagles wouldnt take him. Could take them that one step further.

Freo have said they don't want him (youth policy) and WCE have conceded they probably won't get to him (before the two SA clubs use a draft pick).

It has been said WCE don't want him.. Thas not true, we said we wouldn't trade away players or picks for him at his age.

If he makes it clear he will only play for us ala Luke Ball we can grab in the early 60's.

Get Him.

Lewis Broome wont be returning to West Coast. Is only a rookie so wont open up a spot on the senior list for Davis, unless there is another delisting. However, as you can now upgrade 1 rookie before round 1 (I think) could he be rookie listed with a price tag still (of say $200 000 rather than the base $45 000 rookie wage)?

Adelaide has expressed some interest in taking him in the pre-season draft:

Little point for either SA team as neither of them are set for finals in the short term.

I think if he walks from Collingwood he is walking from the AFL altogether.

If he's happy with a can of coke and a packet of skittles per game I'm sure Port could afford him.

He would be ideally suited to teams that dont make the finals as he doesn't perform in September.

I reckon each club could benefit for him regardless of finals .. Would set a good standard coming out of the back half for others to emulate.

Would depend on his price-tag though

It would be interesting to see whether he plays up forward again, or will a coach persist with him in the 'quarterback' type role.
