What do Crows/Power fans think about the suggestion he would be open to playing for an Adelaide based side?

I think he would be very handy off the half back line for Adelaide, but I doubt Sando and crew will go for it as they seem to be focusing on the 18-24 yr old age group.

Could be a very handy acquisition for the crows. release johncock into the forward line to play that small crumbing forward, even swapping with the likes of douglas, petrenko through the guts. Add a bit of experience down back to a clearly experience depleted back line.

I could see him playing at Port but not at the Crows as there are a few ageing defenders (Rutten, Johncock,Doughty) already there.

Well it came from his manager, saying if WC or Freo didnt want him, he would be open to playing for one of the SA based clubs. I dont see why the Eagles wouldnt take him. Could take them that one step further.

It has been said WCE don't want him.. Thas not true, we said we wouldn't trade away players or picks for him at his age.

If he makes it clear he will only play for us ala Luke Ball we can grab in the early 60's.

However, as you can now upgrade 1 rookie before round 1 (I think) could he be rookie listed with a price tag still (of say $200 000 rather than the base $45 000 rookie wage)?
