Can any one clarify the Sub rule in the C1-C3 comps, I am sure I read that in this grade as long as put on the team sheet before commencement of play that If you have one player available one week but not the next, in these grades he can be substituted for another who can continue on to bowl his overs and bat in his place, If any one can help on this that would be great, or if they have seen the bylaw for it and can send a link, Cheers

That is the rule. Both players need to be named on the team sheets including which one is playing each week, with the teamsheet exchanged before the toss.

If the guy gets out week 1, then the replacement can't bat in that innings.
Bowling doesn't really matter as you are playing 2-day cricket therefore no over restrictions.

Hey everyone,

On Sunday, November 13, I have organised a day which includes 3 x twenty20 games - with the aim of raising awareness and much needed funds for the Haemophilia Foundation of Australia (please visit www.haemophilia.org.au for information about what haemophilia is) but I have struggled to fill the 6 teams, which were initially suppose to be filled with members from the PDCA and C&CCA so I would like to extend and invitation to members of all associations to partake in the games. There are 2 games starting at 11am and one to start at about 1pm - after the first 2 games finish. If you are interested in playing please contact me asap. There is also a facebook group 'bash4cash' and an event invitation going around on facebook too... even if you cant play, please try and get along to the ground (corner of South Terrace and Goodwood road, Adelaide) and support a great cause.

Thanks

As skipper I find it hard to ever admit a start won happen, but weather sites saying less then a mil of rain in the early AM's tonight followed by some sun, another wet deck, but its better then not playing !

There is little to no chance of cricket getting played tomorrow. With over 10mm of rain today, pitches are soaking wet.

Wicket was so hard all week at Pooraka, should get away tomorrow if it doesnt rain too heavily from now.

Looking forward to Ingle Farm tomorrow if we do get away...should be a game with plenty of feeling in it!

Yeah, not a lot of rain coming from here, just concerned about the amount we had today (over half an inch).

Two weeks ago, adelaide copped 4mm on the friday, that finished at about 3pm, then the sun came out, but more importantly it was windy all afternoon and then again on Saturday Morning.

Today we copped 12.8mm which went till 4pm. This afternoon we didn't get any sun really, and their wasn't much wind to speak of.

I too would love to get a hit tomorrow, but unfortunately I think it's unlikely.

Went and looked at our deck late today (I think we might be playing your LO side), and the deck itself wasn't too bad. Naturally soft on top, but quite firm under the first 5mm. The problem was the amount of water lying around the surrounds. The ground was very squelchy to walk on and there were extended puddles in some areas. It's unlikely that they will dry, especially for the bowlers run-ups to dry sufficiently to be safe to play.

Let's hope I'm wrong!

As was ours, so here is to hoping it holds up. Have to wait and see and call the ATCA hot line I suppose, but there is always a chance !

Why would the ATCA not cancel today then like in recent seasons, David Hayzer and Co I though are usually pretty good in that regard, so I guess they think some games are a fair chance to get away, thats the problem when its scattered showers I suppose, some places got it worse then others
