I would not have written it if it was unfounded. The information can from a person involved with recruiting at Tailem. There is concern about how long the Love boys will commit for. Nothing to do with their level of performance. Personally I would like to see them stay and continue to rebuild a great football club.

It is unfounded. The Love Boys only have a few people that they confide in and I garuantee you your source is not one of them. They're staying at Tailem Bend.

On the GSFL thread it says they're being chased quite strongly by Encounter Bay.

Fielke to Mypo is still doin the rounds, I heard it this morning again. Any truth to that?

As for Meningie and Ramblers, no idea!!! Either way Ramblers will be fine, they've got a solid group there, Meningie need to get crankin, I still think they of all clubs need to be innovative about their football program, training schedule etc, driving from Adelaide to Meningie takes its toll, and you need a group fresh and hungry to challenge for a flag.

the locals need to learn to come to matches too, our under 9's team had twice as many kids come to a match as they did, pretty poor if you can even get 10 kids out on the ground, but i guess if the town is struggling for juniors then they are going to have serious problems down the track

If you think U17 and a half year olds don't have their own thoughts and opinions I'm wondering which planet or which century you're living in? If he's a good coach of colts, he'll also be a good coach of men. Same as Denis Pagan, Mick Godden, etc.etc.
