Any confirmation on coaching positions yet. I know that Sollies officials met a week ago to interview candidates. The Lions would have to be close to an announcement too. Surely somebody knows something?

If true I believe both will be great appointments for their respective clubs.

correct

Not sure that is correct in regards to Solly. My info says Adrian Davies (duck) has the A grade job, Steven George (runner/fitness), Terry Pryor (righthand man) and Pinky Davidson will be a selector. Jeff Twigden reported to be the seconds coach.

You might be spot on there bs, not sure on my source and I'm not in the know.
Will be interesting as I thought Duck had enough of it by the end of last year so that is why the whisper was he would only help Jarad. Tough being playing coach though I would think.
I'm sure all the ther names mentioned will be involved at the cattery and all will be beneficial for the club.
Should declare it soon though you would think.

This is the story I am getting too so must be right. Pinky was Skippy's best man - is that the same one?

Unusually have not heard a single word on who has applied for any of the Port Augusta jobs. Clubs are doing well to keep the rumors quiet. Either that or no one has applied. You would hope that they have someone who applied as all 3 sides have potential.

I have heard that a number of players (All Clubs) are awaiting the decisions on coaches to see if they stay at their respective clubs.

I've heard redden has applied for central and south. Choco Laube have applied for central and south as well. As well if Boof Rivers gets the job next year there will be some big signings coming with him.

Boof rivers had reputation with players who played underhim to be the best coach they ever had. There have been some noise his son jess will play next year but will require a big preseason as he only played a hand full of games in past couple of seasons.

Choco I believe people in the club would be happy to see him go as key club people have said he will never coach while I'm alive, as he has cause a lot of problems in the past 3 to 4 years with players leaving. South losing brock would not be that big loss as in my eyes he is very over rated but it will be hard see him leave south.

Those key people have stabbed the last two coaches cos Southie politics.Strucky nearly got South into the Granny and probly could have beaten Ports with there injurys.
Didnt Brock win BnF this year.Only good big player South got.Sladey will be good.Curley as well? Dont think they would go tho unless Choco coached in away.Points thing only lets a small mob of players go to another club I think anyway.

Yes he did but people i talk to said he did not play that well and votes apparently were all on the bench as same person did each week. Back in the day votes were shared around to ensure they didn't influence the count. one senior player i talked to don't rate him as a ruckman raher have robinson rucking. My information i have been told, Choco is one of the cause of politic trouble at souths pushing his own agenda and also i have named a person who did not play last year was causing trouble in 2009.

None of them will go but sladey will be a fringe player at best, but i would like him to prove me wrong.
