We at Reynella knew there was no chance of play. The umpire turned up early and he didnt hesitate in calling it off.
Surely there has to be a better way to handle the inclement weather policy.
A2 teams are not permitted to have covers i'm led to believe so it makes it tough to get wickets up after the weather last week.
This week preperation could be hampered by the weather again.
Solution:get sponsorship or grants from saca or c.a. for all clubs to have full square covers. Maybe they pay 50% or more, and the clubs pay the rest. There must be a better way to fair up the comp because at the moment its not a level playing field. If you are relegated from A1 and you have covers, are you not going to use them? I doubt it.

Concordia probably spat the dummy over the conditions of the pitch, never met a bigger bunch of front runners in my life

I have been told it will actually be SPOC with the forfeit.. Prepared the wrong pitch for day 2 of the match! Not rocket science that 2 day game must be played on the same pitch I wouldn't have thought.
And interesting call heater- who do u play for?
