For all our dominance Hernandez could have nicked a point near the end. Very happy with Vidosic, Susak and Caravella tonight. Far better result

Give it time Jim the squad has had a fairly big turnover. You can't expect them to cme out all guns firing that quickly. We also lost the most influentiual player in the league that hole is not easily replaced. Brisbane started slowly las year when their squad went through a major turnover of players. I wish they showed the game in Paris haha I haven't missed any Adel melb games until this one. How did slory go?

I thought he did ok, showed good pace and gave off some good passes. Missed a sitter from 5m out but still a far better effort. Still dont think he gets into the box enough, several times tonight there were crosses and no one was at the far post and he was hanging back a bit too much. Is improving every game.
Enjoy Paris, awesome place and i went to the 2006 CL final there between Barca and Arsenal, many happy memories :)

I just saw the stats 35 shots 15 on melb 5 shot 1 on  and yeh yeh don't remind me!

To be fair to Melbourne the game was as good as gone when Leijer was sent off. For the next 10 minutes they hardly touched the ball and we racked up the shots. Victory looked better when Salorzano came on, cant believe he didnt start. Clearly better side won tonight though and for all the Victories firepower they are still yet to score this season :D

Bang on mate. He looked dangerous.
Leijer is an idiot. He should have seen red after arguing with the ref for half and hour in the first half.

Loved seeing Muscat hand the cup over at the end. He was his normal pissed off self.

Uuuuuu Reds!

What did John Kosmina say after the game, where he is now being asked to appologise for?

Didn't hear it word for word, but it was along the lines of the Reds raped them... probably not the smartest way of expressing himself.

He's showing himself to be an idiot. How the trophy between Adelaide and Victory is named from Kosmina and the biggest idiot in the game is just an isult to the whole community

Adelaide were terrible tonight, Syd win 2-1.
After gifting a goal to Adelaide in the 1st half it was all one traffic, If it wasn't for Galekovic it would of been a hammering.
The midfield was shocking

Antonis for Syd impressed and is a player with a lot of potential

The Reds absolutely sucked tonight, the worst the have played in a long long time, and that includes the 1st half against Perth...

Galekovic - saved our @rses from an absolute shelacking
Malik - is not really a right back, and looked absolutely knackered in the 2nd half
Susak - very good again
McCain - a bit hesitant tonight, but solid
Cassio - was Cassio....
Ramsey - brilliant in the first half, faded in the 2nd, should never have been subbed off...
Delevksi - Meh, got booked, didn't do much else
Caravella - needs to realise that we play in Red, and when passing, would be excellent if he managed to give it to someone in Red, his misplaced pass led to the first goal
Slory - Lazy at times, brilliant at others, the lazy outweighed the brilliant tonight
Vidosic - a gun, a dead set gun who in 1 and a half games in one of he best players to pull on the Red shirt
Van Dyjk - must wonder if he smells, cos no one in a Red shirt was anywhere near him today, won heaps of headers and flick ons and no one was within cooee, but still they pumped it forward...

TERRIBLE

12500 was a good crowd for a Saturday arvo/evening...

Pathetic display today, one of our worst performances in memory. Second half was a disgrace. Keep this crap up and they wont play finals

Adelaide two goals gifted to them in three games. They haven't successfully netted something that they have created all season. Slory is frigging shite I could have kicked that goal he butchered yesterday. The coach needs a rocket when the side's form line goes like this crap-awesome-crap. Brisbane next week good luck with that they are brutal.

Roar are a good side but United are rubbish.
Been saying for ages that McKain is a hack. Our defending is disgraceful, Brisbane will win by 6 tonight

I saw a car being towed yesterday with the words "DOG ****" in massive pink letters on the windscreen.

That was way better looking than the reds tonight.
