Yeah, but is that only in your opinion though, perhaps or is it a common thought amongst fellow Double Blues fans?

That being said, that was another one I thought about a little bit but from memory Squire was more the skillfull, flashy player.

Powell's body work and 1%'ers on the day were great, his defensive efforts were relentless and stood out.

Oh dear . Really???? , just like your opinion on who would have won if Centrals won. Of course it's my opinion , that's why I POSTED it.

Mate, you are misundersanding what I said and selective bolding on your part shows this.

Look at what I highlighted in red - what I asked was you though Squire was better than Powell on the day BUT was it a common theme amongst others?

I was stating that it was your opinion at the beginning of a question - asking if you thought it was just your opinion or if others agreed with it or not?

I know heaps of Central fans who also thought Matt Slade was BOG in the 2009 GF - that is all I'm asking.

Anyway, back on track...

I'll be joining up as an WWTFC member again in season 2012 thanks to their great Grand Final win and a lost bet with an Eagles mate :?

Have you been drinking Phil ? My opinion is Squire was BOG in the 02 Grand Final , not sure what others think but I know some agree with me . Not sure if it's a common opinion though , not sure it matters . My opinion . Go back and watch the game , Squiz was brilliant .

Good for you Phil. Maybe the simple task of re reading your posts will help. The Yorrick thing though doesnt work , makes you look like a try hard . You know trying to fit in , schoolboy stuff Phil. Try and think for yourself. Maybe just post your links mate.

Anyway, we digress from the thread at hand.

Saw the replay today of little Jimmy Toumpas' running goal - WOW - this kid is going to be a star, what a goal that was.

The weird thing is I was more disappointed when Obst got his season ending injury.

But the Eagles didn't have who, at the start of the season, we thought was going to be our first-choice full forward either.

Still, Obst is going to be a big inclusion for the Dogs next year.

Ah, yeah - of course.

I kind of forgot about Trent as a player because he retired mid-season.
