Agreed FS. He must get seriously sick of all this speculation, he'ls continually made out like a bloke who's just looking for an excuse to leave.

It seems that any player from interstate with reasonable talent will be forced to endure continual BS about a move home. Even Dangerfield copped it a bit this week.

Yet Danger has been used/willing to get the lads like Crouch over the line

The constant crap from sh*t supporters would wanna make me leave as well

Interesting that Sando has said Johnston is seen as a Defensive option, Lynch FWD and Jenkins Ruck/FWD. I see a bit of Tip in Jenkins, the way he marks and uses his body not his arms in a marking contest (very basketball rebound)

The whole thing with Tippett wanting to leave the crows and hes gonna walk out next year is all BS until you hear it from the players mouth. I raise this question to all you supporters out there. If a bloke really hated the club and wanted to leave would he make up a video and post it on the crows website saying he was going no where this year??. i think not. Also, this is just all the media blowing stuff up to sell papers.

Does everyone remember when Taylor Walker was going to GWS and he signed Mid Season with them? yea right what happened there?. Its all crap until the papers and signed and the player has boarded the plane

David Noble on 5AA mentioned there would be announcement reguarding a ruckman joining the club. Must be a NSW scholarship selection.

have you seen the videos available freely through afc.com.au with tippett speaking first-person about the issue and in his own words? True he doesn't directly say "i'm leaving" but instead waffles on about being a contracted player until the end of next year..... not overly convincing but that's what I have based my opinions on. not based on what carro or some media knob thinks.

Turning to the draft, I wonder if Adelaide still has intentions of using a pick in the PSD to likely draft an experienced ruckmen now that it was able to secure Jenkins in Trade Week. The delisting of James Craig makes me think we would still like one more big man.

What are the holes in Adelaide's list?

Defence: Main problem IMO. Need to plan for replacements for Doughty, Symes, Johncock and Rutten in the coming years. Assume Luke Brown was drafted with defence in mind and Brodie Smith may play more defence than midfield going forward. Seems to be too many unproven players however in Lynch, Johnston, Henderson, Thompson, Talia, McKernan, Otten, Lyons, Shaw, Tambling etc.

Midfield: Looking good, Sloane, Danger, VB, Vince, Thompson, Reiley, Petrenko. Hoping for a bit more out of McKay, Douglas and Knights. Can probably add Crouch to this list in 12 months and expect some of those named in defence (Otten) to push into the midfield more often.

Rucks: Jacobs is a gun, and Jenkins had a really good year apparently so comfortable he could step up if required. Then its a mystery on Tippetts whereabouts in 12 months and McKernan's preferred position.

Forwards: Tippett again a big query, but Walker should be playing every game from here on in. Plenty of the young guys named in defence can go forward, such as Lynch, and I would expect Stiffy to play forward this year. Porpoise comes back, Knights kicks a few more and the entry into the 50 picks up we should improve. Wright looked good this year, and Sumner will be available in the draft.

From the draft I think we need defenders first and foremost, followed by some outside pace.
