Well the stats say otherwise...
Whether it's Div 6 or 7 next year, the Ingle Farm we are building will be completely different to the Ingle Farm of the previous few years. Big changes for the better!
If you can produce the brand of footy you were playing during the middle of the year before you went downhill, you'd be a chance.
We've recruited well signing 17 new people already, with others returning back to the club. Change in coaching staff through all senior grades will make a big impact!
while i commend you efforts at starting to turn the place around, it will take a while for all these new blokes to be able to well cohesive football, if there is anything i've learnt from the last two years, if you lose ten blokes it doesn't matter who you get to replace them it will always take a while for them to be able to play as a team.

Doesn't look like you'll have much of a choice; Unless Henley want to stay in Div 6, unfortunately for SHOC they will be going up regardless...

37.5: Either of the Member Clubs playing off in the Grand Final may choose not to be promoted
in the following season provided that such an option has not been exercised by that
Member Club in the previous season and that a Member Club occupying either of the
lowest two positions on the premiership table at the end of the minor round of matches in
the Division above the Member Clubs to be promoted chooses to remain in the same
Division for the following season provided such Member Club has not exercised this option
in the previous season
.

So is that the official ruling Footy Chick? Ingle Farm want to stay but aren't allowed to. Henley can but won't and SHOC should but don't want to, but will be forced to? I'm confused!

I will be very dissapointed if SHOC are NOT in Division 6 in 2012. They dominated Division 7 in 2011 and I believe would be right up there in Division 6 as well. It seems a small minority on the committee at SHOC don't believe they're up to Divy 6 and cos of this small minority will not meet their full potential.

Good post... Very surprised a minority can stop the majority.

Pretty much agree with you DKL WOODY STHS fav's for sure BLACKFRIARS and TRINITY will be very good again SHOC have huge depth and MAWSON LAKES with the inclusion of KELLS (rocs) and CLONAN (ex gepps/walkerville) will be very tough.

I think it's going to be a very close Div and i expect Central United to also be around the mark with Dutchy in charge a few more quality players added to their current list.

I agree. With Holland and Frith joining the likes of youngsters Woodward and co at Central United they will definitely be on the improve in 2012 and beyond. I'd expect CU to give Woody Souths a good run for their money.

2 Very good ins ( Kells has been at Goody Saints for quite a while not ROCS), Well done riddler, should both dominate this division.

Eric Kells to Mawson Lakes? christ there is your 100-120 goal full forward right there in D6. 5 time D1 premiership player at goodies, will tear D6 a new one!

Yep reid has a few, not sure about polks and clonan (he might have a d2 one).

If Kells signs with mawson (if its true) and they keep novosel, they will have one heck of a forward line next year!

Reidy only played in 4 of the grand finals and as for Kells whilst being a fantastic inclusion in to any side nothing is set in concrete especially at this stage of the year with everyone throwing serious cash around to quality players, would be very surprised if he was to come all the way down to div 6 just to play with his brother. though my sources has it the Riddler has had to take a second job at Maccas to cover all these players.
Does anyone know the rule anyway if Kells comes to MLFC, is he worth points or is there an Old Scholar exemption if he played school footy?
