sorry to upset you mate but as a club we are trying to put ourselves in a position to become a two senior side club
also we are looking at the future for our coaches to take over the rains of the club at the end of this season
jason scott is a coach in waiting and i am happy to help him as much as i can
fergie who plays for us is the brother from west adelaide, and was the stand out ruckman in the division when he played this year
the reason for these young coaches is the fact that they will be basically doing the job for this year and years to come
by the way ,we are c2 not c4 and thats because we are only one side at the moment
i would think every club would not only strive to be the best they can but to also give as many young people a chance to put their feet in the water
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

I think its a great idea and possibly the way of the future, otherwise you might end up with a full forward as a coach trying to teach your ruckman. It allows people with the needed experience in certain positions to teach others who are playing in that area.

You cant begrudge a club trying to improve themselves and be as professional as possible... no matter the division the A grade plays in!

:? Whats wrong with that? Whats the problem with trying to be better? In my opinion, had Ovies had better structures and game plans in the midfield this season, they would've had a greater amount of success.
The defensive coach is the only position that seems bit weird to me, but I see the need/place for a coach to work on defensive pressure and tackling etc.
Give this one a whirl. Get hold of the ball before the other bloke, when you get it, give it to a bloke wearing the same coloured guernsey and hopefully that bloke is closer to goal than you and then all the person that wears the some colours as you has to do is put it through (kick mind you) the two taller sticks.

alot of them have only played rugby, touchball and soccer
they are very fit but still learning the game

To Keep surviving and you guys have done a great job in 2011 you need to start looking at Juniors, get some of the kids from the players out and form a couple of sides, thats where surivival of clubs come from

have come to the stunning conclusion that my lawn bowls is as good as my coaching
lots of anger and rage and not much success
on a serious note spending time with the old diggers is great
the humor and stories they tell are unbelievable and to sit down half way through the game and have tea,or in my case coffee and sandwiches is excellent
am having a blast

another huge day on the greens on saturday
huge crowd turned up to see the west croydon rsl take on semaphore
as the enthusiasm and tesion could be cut by a knfe as the two elite and extremely fit teams limbered up before the game the trash talk reached its climax
with the tension now at breaking point the crowd had trebled in size to a new record of spectators at the greens was finally counted at four
it was a great game with the semaphore diggers finally drawing away to a win
man of the match went to the young filly, myrtle, who at the tender age of 84 produced the days biggest suprise and uping the ante for future contests with not only great curried egg sangas but the best scones i have ever tasted
on a seriuos note,i did see one of the greatest and moving sights i have ever seen when i watched for the whole day an elderly gentleman in a wheel chair and also suifering from some other disease which meant he bowled withsome kind of frames held in his hand have a great day and bowled well all day
that now means 0 from 2 with the dee man on board but the season is still young

the crowd was quick to get into the excitement today as the gladiators from croydon and west croydon hit the greens.word has slowly got out about the new style of athlete taking on the ever thrilling and excitement packed games of bowls.todays crowd was easily the largest to watch a west croydon game, and everyone knows they are their to see the most electrifying athlete in bowls and sporting entertainment today.
and to be bruteally honest,,he did not disappoint
it was the excellence of execution at its best and most damaging
