Day One of Holidays: Slept/Recovered from a massive weekend of FREE BEER (cue REB) at a mates wedding, and $10 Pale jugs watching the SANFL Grandy.

Day Two of Holidays: Cleaned coffee machine (this process took most of the morning) and ate curries.

Day Three of Holidays:

Waiting on an immense amount of back pay from my employer (has been underpaying us since last October) to allow the festival that is Thursday-Sunday to begin.

Life is grand...

Can't you just take goods in lieu of this?

And with the missus new job being limited on hours at this stage, the extra money will be "survival money" until her hours get better...

It's taken nearly two months to get the coin though, so taking a new big screen telly was a thought at one stage!

Nah, I haven't. Last night's episode with the Nazis was brilliant. He just lets them dig their own graves by letting them speak. Scary how far from reality some people's views are.

Ive made my offer with a 30 day settlement. Happy to negotiate the price (only slightly though) but the settlement period will be non negotiable. I've talked the bank manager into letting us do it without the sale of our house needing to happen so we can just move in and work out what to do with ours at a later date. Although the money from selling our home will be more than handy!

But if I wait til after I will still be doing nearly all of it anyway, as well as having to move a nursery plus a heap of other stuff that we will inevitably get as gifts etc. Doing it now will mean that once bubs is born there will be nothing to do, plus I've got holidays running from 22nd December through til 30th January so if there is anything left over I should have plenty of time then!
