great work by SA, thought NSW looked about 20 runs short when they batted. Very batsmen friendly deck.
Cooper did what most guys dream of by bringing up his ton and the winning the game at the same time

Ha ha too right it was. Thank you Philip Hughes. Next time get 60 of 66 balls or GTFO. Horrible batsman. Well done Backs best team won on the day. I was really impressed by the Redbacks bowling funnily enough with the score 0/200 at one stage. I reckon we never looked like winners in what was a really unusual game of Cricket. About twenty short I reckon.

NSW should have done better in the last ten overs.
Had lost only one wicket yet scored only 66 runs of the last ten overs

NSW batsmen perhaps playing for their own individual playing records/statistics, costing them the game.

Just got home, go you Redbacks!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Awesome game, some superb batting, Jessica Yates in close proximity, Usman gunning it up, Coops getting the ton and the win on the same ball, that was an awesome day/night!!

Twas freezing though.

Not Khawaja, he paced his knock beautifully, not even Hughes, but it was a strange knock from Phil. At one stage he was 49 off 98 balls, that's not good enough. He then exploded, but wasting so many overs for so few runs was the killer in the end.

49 off 98 = Defeat
60 off 66 = Platform

Yeah I'm not sure what was going through Phil's head. He obviously wanted to get a start, and then he would've wanted to see off a lot of overs so his teammates wouldn't have to worry about building an innings, but his go-slow approach certainly hurt NSW. If he'd just been a little bit mor aggressive early, NSW would've had another 20 on the board and probably would've won.

Yep, you and Jimbo got it right, bluebaggers fell quite short of what should have been acceptable on that pitch. The talk this week was a 300 run first innings, the weather would have shaved a few runs off but not that many. Still a good game of cricket - no wickets didn't mean the bowlers weren't working their guts out.

Hopefully a sign of things to come for the redbacks, best kick off to a season in a while.
