SA v NSW Sheffield Shield - 17-20 Oct.

Postby bloods08 » Thu Oct 13, 2011 10:53 am

SA from:

Cullen Bailey
Aidan Blizzard
Daniel Christian
Tom Cooper
Callum Ferguson
Peter George
Daniel Harris
Michael Klinger
Tim Ludeman
Nathan Lyon
Joe Mennie
Gary Putland
Chadd Sayers
James Smith

A bit surprised that Richardson can't make the shield side. They really must rate this Mennie lad.

Took 2 wickets in the second innings and made a duck with the bat last weekend (ignoring that stupid joke :D )

22yo, 1.9m fast bowler from NSW (its a bloody invasion)

It would be nice if the curator zings up the pitch this season, like some other curators do Interstate

Having a look at the line ups
The batting of both teams looks stronger than the bowling

Magnificent start. SA over the last few years even when they've gotten a good start haven't started piling on runs until day 2. But at 0/90 off 30 overs we've just got the makings of a platform to be able to declare earlier and give our bowlers more of a chance.
