Western Bulldogs new guernsey design for 2012

Postby Hondo » Tue Oct 11, 2011 1:28 pm

The Bulldogs have changed their guersney for 2012 season and beyond. I like it, simpler always works better. It is almost a throwback to the design used in the 50s I think.

Good stuff. Footy guernseys look best with solid blocks of colours, not with stylised animal heads, claw marks or gradients.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Same as what they wore against Port in the heritage game at Etihad a few years back when Port wore the prison bars there. Much better looking guernsey.

Good article and a fair few truths in it re free agency, the spirit of the game and the volunteers/chatacters that will be lost as the AFL evolves into a profession and not just a sport
