It is a girls beer, and it tastes like it, even for free!

sounds pretty good to me :D

Nah, plympton premiers. Jason Akermanis will fall in love with the club and bring over Barry Hall and Simon goodwin and they'll set up a boxing social club with goody the bookie making the club very financial allowing an abundance of recruits after christmas. Cove will fold due to lack of excuses why they're not dominating ASCA and keswick will spit the chewy when they can't use golf balls and leave for a turf competition.

Not to mention we do have K foley playing a few games aswell this year . We will have crowds in the thousands by the end of the season

All we need is the oval fixed

So the season so how are we looking this week after a few surprise results last weekend?

Morphettville Park v Coromandel Ramblers
South Road v ICC Sharks
Keswick v Western Youth Centre
Plympton Footballers v Coromandel
Sheidow Park v Cove
Glenelg ANA v Belair

IMO:
Morphies
South Road
Keswick (simply because 0-2 would not be a good start)
Coromandel (I'm not going to tip against us am I)
Sheidow Park
Belair to prove they're not making up numbers.

Who would have received votes for Hewett Medal in round 1? Would have thought Koirala, Ambler and Norman got the nod in coro v Sheidow.

For me its
Ramblers - I just think were a better side, lookin forward to the afternoon tea tho
South road - May to come back and Calder to make a hundred. If he doesnt run himself out
Western youth - Too many weapons with the bat
Coromandel - Lourens to take his first ten for
Cove - Sheidow losing Ben Cameron is too big a loss
Glenelg, D Rowe to dominate

Easily?? Do you have any argument to support that?

D Rowe will have to get Glenelg across the line himself unless a few players come back to help him.

some reasons why just for Caleb
Morphettville Park v Coromandel Ramblers MORPHIES EASILY 2 good ins with R.Mcard & S Thomas
South Road v ICC Sharks ICC EASILY Tonkes and Verall will rip through Sth Rd
Keswick v Western Youth Centre WESTERN YOUTH EASILY WYC too strong with bat and ball
Plympton Footballers v Coromandel CORO EASILY Plympton wont make 100 against Lourens
Sheidow Park v Cove COVE EASILY Cove with 7 ins in the A grade should win easily
Glenelg ANA v Belair GLENELG EASILY D Rowe 5 for and a 50 too strong

Morphettville Park v Coromandel Ramblers - RAMBLERS - I think ramblers are the more quality side here and a greater range of talent should get them the win

South Road v ICC Sharks - ICC - Sharks bowling attack too strong for South Rd

Keswick v Western Youth Centre - WYC- hard one to pick here... WYC are well balanced and coming off a strong performance, however i think if Keswick bat first they could grab 1st innings points. (then if that happens, im tipping WYC to win outright on second innings haha) I think it could come down to who bats first though because i can see whoever bats first posting a decent total and defending it

Plympton Footballers v Coromandel - CORO - like Moose im never tipping against us... we have good depth this year with 4 great ins

Sheidow Park v Cove - SHEIDOW PARK - Sheidow could definitely surprise some this year. Their decent opening partnership is supported well by their spinners and i can see the combination of cooke, clements, foster and crichton bowling a few sides out cheaply this year

Glenelg ANA v Belair - BELAIR - I actually think that Belair are the stronger side here. They have no real weaknesses, whereas Glenelg lack depth after Rowe and Basso

This round should be a good indicator of where sides are shaping up for this season

Belair's strength will be their bowling. If they can hold teams under 150-200 they will do well.

If true, awesome.

If not, I'm sure the ASCA would be interested to hear how a team has registered a player without their knowledge or approval.
