He played for the shoes in the SFL last year i think but had a quiet one. (Probs cos he had to do it all himself and was tagged out each week)

Genovese did play for the shoes last year and is a gun however did have alot of trouble with injury which i guess happens as we get older

It will be interesting to see if Encounter Bay hold together, all those inclusions leaving so called "payed" players in the B grade cannot be a good thing.

No "payed" player will play B grade and hang around.

By the sounds of it EB have promised a heap of players cash and a A grade game - Can a team recruit too much??
Hills, you are a disgruntled idiot. Your now talking in riddles about a topic you have no idea about. Its young blokes like you who are self proclaimed gun players and when your form doesnt warrant an A'grade game you sook about being dropped.
P.S Paid not 'payed' but they have always been ordinary at spelling at Jervois.
Please before replying atleast do us the favour of actually NOT talking rubbish and actually explaining yourself correctly.
Mate eveyone knows EB have over booked and if they can keep on paying out 300 to ex reserves players than good on them. basically your gonna get smashed this year anyway!

Whats this about me not earning a spot - Have you even seen me play or just going on what the rest of the clowns on this site say?

Hills you seem to be an expert on Encounter Bay, where do you get your information from?

They are not paying the money you think they are or that has been implied on this site.

The club has recruited some good footballers, without recruiting any stars, and without having to pay too much money.

ROH, Hills is the brother of a player EBFC were after, they were also going to try and recruit him. Threw money at his bro but he decided to stay at his club - nothing ventured nothing gained.
Now this clown is on here talking all soughts of crap, he genuinely has no idea.

Hills, if your going to get on a forum, first things first, dont take it personal, everyone knows everything, we all talk on here mate. How about you just worry about getting a kick this year and proving your worth and stop bagging other clubs and making up crap - you clearly have no idea about the GSFL nor do we want to hear your misguided comments.
Looks like from your last post that the cracks are appearing, is it getting to you that people are saying your average at footy? Personally I havent seen it posted but fair enough. Secondly, your brother is a legend, ofcourse everyone is going to know who he is and ask about you and watch your form, put up with it mate, its the tragedy of having a bro thats a gun and not being as good yourself. Maturity will see you work hard on your own game and strengths rather than having to verbally justify yourself all the time.

Gee I hope Ive got the right bloke after all this...

Hmmm touchy little feret arent you mate, take it I hit a nerve and this is the right bloke then.
Dont know you mate, just off you.
Next time you bag a club make sure none of its members are on here to put you in your place.
I think that after your post though that you just got yourself banned, whoops.

BTW, reading back through the posts does anyone feel Hills was bagged or do people believe he actually initiated it and now getting his back up?

There seems to be a few people in this forum that get a bit worked up when there's talk about the number of players at Encounter Bay that may or may not be getting paid to play there in 07. Especially when there was a suggestion that some of these "paid players" could be playing B Grade. The fact is the Bays have submitted 20 odd clearances for players to join their club so of course people are gonna think that they're getting some sort of financial incentive to sign the clearance form. If that is the case then a few of those 20 players are going to play B Grade at some stage because there are already more than a handful of A Grade standard players at the club even with the likes of McLean, Hough, Rolfe & Jagodnik that have left.

Boys watch the language, try and avoid the personal abuse, attack the arguement not the person.

The Mods know it works both ways so this is not aimed at any particular person on this or other threads just a reminder to temper the personal abuse.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Postby Panther32 » Wed Apr 04, 2007 3:04 pm

Earlier someone mentioned that Thompson is not playing at Willunga this season, has this definitely been confirmed? I read in the local paper that he has said he's retiring for the last three years so has he actually done it this year?
If so Hams will happily replace him in FF but who will replace him at CHF???

I have a feeling he wont be mouthing off on the forum anymore...

Anyway back to footy please gents.

Byrty did the pre season with Encounter Bay signed with them and then asked for a clearance to Mount Barker for more money.

I think he played in Geelong last year.

Moves alright, kicks funny.
