Thanks to all - DW my old man would be relieved you brought him back from the dead (pop is grandfather to me - my old man is still kicking).

We have had 4 generations of 'mac' men at the footy for the last 9 years (since jr smac came along) and it will be sad without him there, but he got to see 5 flags and I sat with him at all of them. Special times to remember.

Glad to hear we get 2 guests, might make it a little easier to get some more folks along to the game. Anyone wants to be a guest on my ticket, just send me a pm - everyone I know who is going has a membership already.

I'm a little confused.
But maybe I (?) worded things wrong. I was more trying to say that I know what it's like to be going to a game minus a loved one (in this case my grandfather) who it was a tradition to go with.
I hope that makes sense ;)

Unlike your Pop, my grandfather never got to see a Dogs flag. He died a year before it happened. I took the newspaper clippings of each of our premierships to his gravesite. He knew.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Wedgie, how close is that to full strength ... I notice Stribling not listed, any others that would be automatic choices?

A fit Kingsely Walker would be a start up, Toby has had a limited preseason only playing his first full game last week in the ressies wo might be a couple of weeks away. Im not sure if Wintle or Hart will be fully fit with modified preseasons especially on the expnases of Elizabeth Oval.
Trent Sporn another definate walk up (50 AFL games) but has 1 match suspension (dont get me started on that again).
Brett White's not fit yet and is one of our leaders.
That's about it, no AFL players listed which doesn't happen too often (except for rookie listed McIntyre), I'd like to see Gill or Perrie in.
Wont ever see Huddo again.

Yep. Usually does in trials though. Has played well although Lecras gave him a bit of a touch up.

Lawry could easily start at CHB on Alleway and Schell move up forward.

J. Westhoff is in some sensational form at full forward atm.

what you need to know...
1) we stand over on the outter
2) it is considered good manners to bring plenty of money to buy drinks for North supporters you stand next to
3) stand next to me
