Pretty sure the 2nd year Alistair Clarkson was at Hawthorn, he wanted to recruit Havlelberg but his suspect hamstrings were an issue again at the wrong time of the year and he was over-looked.

Will be sorely missed by the Dogs no doubt.

Question for Bays fans. Was yesterday Luke Panozzo's swansong, or has he been under injury duress which has affected his form in the last half of the year?

Form not injury related ... could be a doubtful starter for next year.

I thought there might have been an announcement at the after party last night about the Gowans future BUT nothing was said so i presume the twins genuinly dont know what their decision is at this stage.

LOL

Maybe at each away game next season, they could drive the Gowans around the oval before the match and just have a free for all sledging match between them and the opposition supporters.

Strong rumour doing the rounds last week that they had signed with Gepps Cross for next year but find that hard to believe with the SAAFL now having a pts system with each club allowed a maimum of 15 pts and they would be worth 4 pts each.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

So far I've heard them locked in at 4 clubs. All wishful thinking at this stage.
