SYDNEY Swans co-captain Adam Goodes' stature at the club continues to soar after he won a third Bob Skilton Medal in Sydney on Friday night.

Goodes polled a total of 615 votes to comfortably win this year's award as the Swans' best player from Rhyce Shaw and Josh Kennedy, who tied for second on 573 votes.

Ryan O'Keefe (542) and Ted Richards (523) rounded out the top five, but Goodes was a clear and popular winner.

Good result at Collingwood and Carlton, looks like the admin there has the same opinion as I do as to who is the best player in the team and who is massively overrated in the media and the umpires at both clubs.

No, Ed is moving Pendelbury into the room Malthouse just moved out of. Crisis averted.

However, the two respective clubs coaching panels know what they asked the player to do during any given game, ie the role they needed to play and the umpires, not being privvy to that, only can give votes on what they see on the day so of course you will get differing opinions on the players as they ( the umpires and coaching panels ) are working to different parameters.
