SANFL game time table...

Postby Dog_ger » Fri Oct 07, 2011 4:25 pm

Our Granny clashes with Bathurst this year. :(

I really love my footy.

I like to watch Bathurst, not all of it but I like to do some gardening and peep in on the "Great Race".

Have a few wines/beers or scotches etc... ;) :partyman:

SANFL timing is wrong this year, it has happened be4.

We got it wrong again.. :(

Whats your oppinion. :D
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

In my opinion, the game shouldn't be on Sunday if there's no public holiday afterwards. As an Eagles fan, it'll be annoying to have to go to work the day after if we win, coz of celebrations Sunday night etc. And I'm sure it'll be much the same for Dogs fans if they win, having to get up and go to Centrelink on Monday.

Been discussed here before, but just about time to go to a Friday night prelim final, or Sat arvo final if the AFL ever goes to a twilight GF, so the GF can be the next Sat at 2.20pm

Yep they've got it wrong.

Doesn't effect me personally this year

Time for the SANFL to have the Grand Final earlier anyway, been saying it for years, same weekend as the VFL and the WAFL in my opinion.

and RB, cut the Centrelink references, anyone of any persuasion should treat such comments with caution (Unless you're referring to yourself), none of us ever know, if and / or when we need the assistance of the Government.

Bugger Bathurst, the true sports lovers will be watching the Wallabies and Springboks quarter final in the World Cup.
The SANFL couldn't have had the Grand Final at a worse time for the entire weekend and I doubt they even had the foresight to consider it.

All finals should be Saturday.

Grand Final Staurday - no long weekend, Sunday - long weekend

The Premiers Bar yesterday was the most packed i have ever seen while the game was on.

They had 3 channels with the footy and then 1 showing Bathurst.
