I think Clayton has fully retired after fracturing his cheek (or something similar to that last year)
I dont think Ashley will play next year due to increased work commitments, and is no longer an assistant coach.
Not 100% sure on Carter, wouldn't surprise me either way.

Just announced -Rocky Butterworth to Athelstone in 2012.
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Is this PAOC's old coach?
Was he sacked by them or was there an agreement for him to move on?
Is he a chance to take a few of them with him to Athelstone?

Looks like ROCS have gone for a player coach next year for their return to div 1. Just need to confirm his name :lol:

The blacks have played triple headers v rostrevor, walkerville, spoc, paoc, ignatians among others in the past two years, know that paoc have played spoc etc in others.
So i'd consider that you're in with a good chance.

As an aside, one format that worked quite well was that the b grade had the early game (10.15) and the c (or what grade) played the 12.15 game as it meant that the starting times for each moved forward two hours as the b grade players often report earlier than 11am so are generally unoccupied on saturday mornings.

Just looked on the rocs website and Matthew Dawes has been announced as player/coach for 2012

Not making anything up, this is what a Roc's player told me! Maybe is info was incorrect.

heard tea tree gully will have a pretty handy side next year. better than the one they had in div 1 any way.

they would need to pick up a fair few in order to be a top 2 side. the side they had this year would not have made the top 5 in div 2. they were quite ordinary.
does anyone know who they have picked up for next year?

Have heard they have picked up 6 pts from a relegated Div 2 side.....cant see that helping!
