How long did it take CDFC to win a finals game? Just curious.

Thanks. I knew there was a siginificance about the win back then.

I believe we won the first final we played in, back in 1971. We did manage to become reasonably competitive fairly early, something that wasn't so easy being a new club in a new area with a high immigrant population. It was just the winning finals bit we didn't do so well for a while.

FWIW
NW won the Premiership in their first year
I reckon George Giffen kicked NWs first ever goal
Back in those days footy was footy
They built a Grandstand at Adelaide Oval and named it after George

i suppose the only up side is the reserves doing so well this year, but will be a lot of movement and a lot of cap space for the club too make some things happen hopefully. IMO its a good thing. the legs looked very sluggish yesterday and they had 0 fwd line which again IMO was a lot too do with poor coaching.

Believe Zorzi will play on but i think Bryce is weighing up his options in regard to his injury. Obviously wont play next year but i still think he has a few good years left depending on how sucessful his knee op is. Dont think Jonas is going to be drafted, isnt he contracted to Port still. Dont think he has been delisted

Who does the recruiting at Norwood ?![]()
No, they said no to the transfer fee to Glenelg, they wanted him. We didn't deviate from our transfer fee request. You got him without a transfer fee as by this year he was off our list. Facts are are always helpful in any statement.

teaboy, were did Young come from? He won't stay at Norwood if he gets delisted?
And you doubt Campbell to come back?
Not a bad analysis of where Norwood might be heading, except for one thing
Rowe to be drafted?I'm sorry, the only "draft" he will see will be to separate him from the other woolly white ones. Meek as a lamb for his size and potential
