Severe thunderstorm warning has just been issued for metropolitan Adelaide - due to hit the northern suburbs at about 4:20pm, but looks like the northern and south-eastern suburbs are going to be hardest hit - though the one heading through Clare/upper Barossa appears to be the bigger storm.

http://www.bom.gov.au/products/IDS65500.shtml

EDIT: The Adelaide warning has been cancelled as the storm fizzled out.

Hottest most uncomfortable day up in Darwin I've experienced yesterday. Big storm rolled up to Berrimah then turned south. The pool was warmer than a bath.
