HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. My stomach hurts.

:D :D That was funny.

Next week, 22000 crowd.

21999 Centrals supporters and Grocke's mum.

In all fairness, I think Central should have a year off in 2012 as long service leave, and let the others have a go.

Maybe Norwood over-achieved, after losing so many quality players at the end of last year. For the second half of the season, they did seem to struggle (but kept winning) but unfortunately for them , they just ran out of steam.

I don't think we over achieved but I think our side was not as good as last year. What helped us was really besides the Eagles and Central everyone else was up and down so much. South got in the five on 8 and a half wins with one of those coming against a half strenght Norwood side. Standard wise it really was an average year for most of the clubs which helped us. Still we should have been playing next week.

Should Norwood have contested the Foxtel Cup, a competition which it certainly would have won, rather than put all its eggs in the SANFL premiership basket, eventually finishing the season with neither senior trophy?

Words can't describe how sick to death I am of Foxtel Cup references.

So.......where are the taunts & jibes of Spionkopster & Staritski? It's ok, I won't have a go at you but you could at least appear & take the good with the bad. I'll not mention Norwoodman78, he seems to have mellowed of late. ;)

I reckon the 3rd best team is about right, and a pretty accurate reflection of our season

Do you think so, JK?
Or reflects Norwood's finish to the season, as second does for Collingwood?

Thought it was a good game, reminded me of yesterdays game. One team dominated early got about 15 pts up in the 2nd qtr, then the other team got it abck to almost on par by /2 time. Level pegging at 3/4 time and then the good guys kicked away with some of the seasoned players standing up. A good win to the Bays.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

No, I think the season masked some flaws that weren't clearly exposed until late in the Minor Round and early in the Major Round.

It's the Norwood way to always insist on trying to play a highly/overly skilled style, with a squad that doesn't have the ability to implement it under pressure (in a competition that has no side capable of implementing under pressure most likely) - Not mid winter Minor Round pressure, but Major Round pressure.

Norwood played the Eagles and Centrals 7 times for 2 wins (1 of which was by a point whilst we were playing our best footy for the year) - We can't hide from that.

It's about time we shoved our "pride" up our collective asses and adopted styles and philosophies that successful clubs of the last 20 years have regularly displayed.

maybe it's a size issue.....I mean, Norwood play ok at Norwood but don't at larger grounds? Am I clutching at straws here? yes, I am. sorry, I just remembered, 2 weeks ago at Footy Park.

Yours isn't the only club that needs to do that.
