Four of the six teams we have beaten in Grand Finals during this run have dropped away badly after the Grand Final (West, North, Glenelg and Sturt). The Eagles had been the only team able to keep that hunger alive. Well done to Norwood for at least being the second team to do this.
Cheers

Well given we are yet to miss the finals since 2008 I'm not sure you can say we've fallen away badly. Eagles have missed a finals series since they last played a GF.

That said we aren't happy with were we are at. Fallen away yes, fallen away badly nup.

I guess the talk from many Glenelg fans about the side falling away badly was over the top? It's not opposition fans saying how bad Glenelg are, it's their own fans!

Premiership still far from decided yet. We'll still be challenged and we've seen before how not being on our game on GF day can cost us big time. We've set ourselves up and will have a better chance than 7 other sides, but the whole year could end up being wasted if we don't have the right attitude for one day.

Norwoods odds of taking the premiership this year have taken a dive after their insipid performance against Centrals on Sunday.

Here is the bookies market for the flag:

CENTRALS $1.50
NORWOOD $4.15
EAGLES $4.65

fair crack, given Norwoods losses in pesonal especially teh loss of campbell last week I reckon they've done a sensational job this year. No need for mocking of the legs IMO.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Norwood had some injuries but Centrals had more throughout the season and when these two sides met and Norwood beat Centrals by a point when the Dogs were hit very hard with inuries and Centrals easily beat Norwood recently. Centrals are better coached by far and I think Bassett may have a few questions being asked of him now.
