Was Rowntree injured or dropped on Sunday?

He had/has Pneumonia. Doubtful for this week as well according to Godden's coaches report.

Shenton needs to play a good game and then if they win he must stand up again the following week. A bit overrated at this point I think and goes missing when the pressure applied. Sam Rowe needs to step up as well and if they can both perform Norwood will win and Dawe must be used wisely , a bit clumsy and his height hasn't been taken advantage of . But I could be wrong as I don't follow Norwood closely but taht's how I have seen it against Centrals in particular.

Correct - his last two games against Centrals have been very ordinary.

I have said on here a few times out of all the forwards in the SANFL Shenton is probably the easiest match up for the Dogs to counter. Essentially Lairdy could use one of Thomas, Musolino, Spurr, Williams, Sansbury, Goodrem, Templeton and Hayes on him at various stages.

Completely agree .. Norwood have needed someone like Sammy Rowe to control the air like he is capable of (but hasnt done), to give Shents more of a ground role role where he's actually stronger

I'm going to be sitting at home, a beer in one hand, a bon...err, another beer in the other hand watching and listening to this one with interest...

Lets hope these two teams beat the stuffing out of each other. I got a feeling Norwood will run away with it sometime in the second half...

I don't know what other Dogs supporters think but i'd rather play Norwood than the Eagles as we seem to match up better against them.

I agree, but there is alot of Sturt 2002 about Norwood imho. While we have had the edge over them and i do belive we are a better side, they are due against us and their best is very capable of beating us if we are not on.

Whoever we meet next week we will need to be at our best otherwise both Norwood or the Eagles could comfortably walk away with the premiership.

Was that a bong or boner in your hand?

A bong...just playing the stereotype...It would of been hard to crack a boner watching that match.
