Dutchy will do a great job coaching but hasn't been around amateur league in over 4 years and may of missed the boat on a few players from his former club.

Has it been 4yrs already since he was at Paralowie? Either way I imagine he will still have the pulling power to attract players from Paralowie to CU.
Not only that, but he still keeps in the loop in the happenings in each division, and i've seen him at games when he has been injured or not playing for Peake, so don't think he would be far off the mark next year with his expectations of the league.
Will he be a player/coach?

Yes i believe he will be a playing coach.

Phantom Gossiper wrote:Now that I think about it, i'm sure he won the Div 7 medal in 2008 as well?

Yes he did phantom.

Quichey wrote:What did Dutchy eat for breakfast today? Did he take a shit after smoko or wait until he got home?

he doesnt eat breakfest nor can he wait for a shit at home.

Milly wrote:Do we need out own Dutchy thread? With Riddler and Dutchy coaching against each other next year it will be the biggest coach love fest since Chad Bourke and the Riddler coached against each other. Ive heard wispers that there is already a carton up for grabs in the Mawson Lakes vs Central united games next year.

i have also heard there is going to a carton on the mozzies V units game

He'd have to be a playing coach wouldn't he? He's not that old. Maybe early 30s so i'd expect him to do both jobs similar to the way Chad Bourke has done with aplomb at Glenunga.

Dutchy would be the oldest 32 year old getting around! But if can replicate what Burke did at glenunga i'm sure CUFC and Dutchy would be very happy.

i personally dont see anything wrong with what bourke did... coahcing his first senior side why wouldnt you want the best side you can get.... also if fitzroy wanna be mad at bourke, well i think there mad at the wrong guy. should be mad at the guys who left... bourke was just doing his job.

So who else do we expect to see roll out to central United. Ive heard two old players from United, Aaron frith and Shane Sinclair. Who else from his Paralowie days might the new coach take?
