Port Melbourne don't have any AFL listed players do they?
No
In the current side, Central only have Callinan while Port Melbourne have a few former AFL listed players, some just recently out of the national comp.

Then decided to move to Adelaide to increase his chances of getting picked up. Hasn't worked out AFL wise but still a handy league footballer on the SANFL.

I always thought he was somehow involved in the wider Swans system without being on their senior list but I really don't know much about how they're set up over there. I know he was keen on getting drafted and there was some talk apparently of someone picking him up before he joined us. But when he got here it was clear he was a long way off the level needed. Unfortunately for the guy I think playing in a weaker league he didn't quite realise the jump to AFL. Has improved massively since joining us so I do wonder how he'd have gone coming through the SANFL system instead of the NSW system.

As you know most crowds only arrive in the last 30-45 minutes before a game when the Foxtel game has finished. Claremont played their first game in Tassie then the Gold Coast before playing back at Subiaco before a Freo game from memory.
AFL players have to have the ground to themselves for a full hour before their match that is why the grounds look empty.
