No update but is more than likely to be traded back to Crows or Power and if he not he is certain he will be delisted.

Shane Edwards has been training at a gym near me everyday of the week so maybe he has spoken to the SA AFL clubs.

Compare grand final records and you'll find Westhoff is a fair way in front.

They used to say the same thing about Darren Smith in the 80's, remember back then?

I don't remember Westhoff being amongst the best in any GF.

More to do with being off season, and having family in Adelaide I would think.

I like your signature. Was it you that quoted me saying McConnell was soft and lazy and won't kick goals when it matters? Anyway, feel free to add Kirkby's GF record in there too. Or your comments about Sansbury not making our best team.

In regards to Smith, exactly what point are you making? That he was a good player in a winning GF side or an ordinary player in a losing GF side?

I couldn't imagine Nason being traded for. I get the feeling he's going to be delisted so why not pick him up for nothing? Maric would actually get some interest, even if it is a third round pick or something low, would be better than wasting a trade on a guy that I understand no other AFL club wants.

Tend to agree. He'd be very handy at South. Plus he could teach all the other forwards how to flop and stage for free kicks.

No it wasnt, but of course according to you McConnell couldnt play either, 67 goal season later....

History is littered with ordinary players with premiership medals, Westoff is one.

Ah, I love the way you think you can understand what people say, it's so quaint. What I said was he was soft and lazy and kicked goals when it didn't matter. Never said he couldn't play, never said he couldn't kick goals. I don't really expect you to understand this either, but I've got nothing else to talk about this week.

It'd be good if there was some actual news or at least some speculation about players and coaches comings and goings in this thread and less bitching about friggin' Kirkby and Westhoff

Righto then lets get back to the first post on this topic......

DOC wrote:Some clubs already very active for next season. South have signed one tall CHF from the NEAFL (Qld/NT). Looks a good size but can he play? I guess we must think so. Hope he's not like the ruckman we signed from the WAFL two years back who didn't realise he still had a year to go on his contract.

Where is the South Adelaide Media release announcing this new recruit, I have trawled over the South Adelaide website but I am yet to find any reference to players for 2012

surely now that both the NEAFL and South Adelaide have finished their seasons there would be some news on this :?

And you think he'd react to 15 drunk old fat idiots standing at a dilapidated brick shit house, when he's had the Collingwood cheer squad spit at him and abuse him from every angle....

His only reaction might be to give you a wave with one finger, and then ask for a tinny to be thrown his way.

More so that 15 girly boys whining about the glenelg finals chances !!
