We have improved in the last few overs, bowling has been 10 times better, medium pace doing better than half trackers from the spinners. Want to see the back of this Smuts pretty soon.

Insipid performance by the Redbacks. A loss and of this size means it screws up the run rate and almost ends their chances of advancing from the get go.

What really gets me forget the terrible bowling and rubbish batting from the top order is we needed like 60 odd runs off the last 20 odd balls and Christian isn't even attempting any sort of big hits just paddling it around for singles.

Seriously every aspect of the Redbacks game tonight was disgusting.

Have to laugh at Mumbai, they have no batsmen...struggled to chase down 98 last night.

Redbacks tonight, Sayers must play, from what I have seen medium pace is getting the job done rather than spin. Still not liking our chances Kolkata have a lot of internationals... However Redbacks arent without a chance if they have a bit of luck.

Your spot on, he's alway going for huge totals because he wants to be known as the fastest bowler not the best bowler.
Cannot bowl a consistent line & length.
To me he's a disaster & should retire.

Didnt he already retire? I think your half right - he is a disaster, but instead of retiring, he should be told to piss off!

Though South Australia Redbacks' three spinners conceded 69 runs for no wicket in eight overs against the Warriors, they are planning to play the same combination against Kolkata Knight Riders.

"The three spinners have worked very well for us over the last two years," batsman Callum Ferguson said. "I don't see that being any different coming up on Tuesday or for the rest of the tournament. We are very confident about the strategy and we think that it will bring success."
