Byron Hearne
Ray Dohnt
Wayne Carty

It was pleasing to see Hearne and Carty play league football
The 3 of us played school footy together
Byron was a fitness fanatic who got the very very best out of himself
Wayne had enormous ability but not Hearne's absolute commitment
I should have played league football, only one thing stopped me, Ability

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

From memory, John Martin was particularly flexible, and played in several positions, including the ruck.

He had a good leap, so could pinch hit in that area.
