Norwood started the game with Levicki out of the team due to a leg injury. Edward Smart played his first reserves game. (Finished with 15 touches 6 kicks and 9 handballs)

The Legs set up the win with an 8 goal to one first term. Their forwards Gazzola, Jericho and Donohue took full advantage of thier dominance around the clearances.

The Bays kicked the first two goals of the second term and dominate for the first half of the quarter - but could not convert on the scoreboard. Norwood outscored them 4 goals to 3 in the second.

The third quarter saw Norwood down to no reserves as Jericho was taken off at half time with an injured leg and team mates Evans and Dalwood off with a clash of heads.
(Both players returned later in the game.)

Norwood outscored the Bays 3 goals to 2 in the third quarter and six goals to on in the last to run out 14 goal winners
