Well i think Salisbury would have to be unhappy with their game today. Only got up by under 2 goals and we were up most of the game.
Was a good hiout for us and the boys were very happy with the game besides goin down of course. Pag was average! haha, nah he did ok. And Pag how can that lil #7 for yous get a game? Pretty ordinary effort from that kid i thought.

In the magoos, we played very good in some patches against the 2006 D3R Premiers. There FF killed us in the end. I had an pretty average game, across half back and the BP. went to the HFF/Wing for the last which i enjoyed only kicked 1 though. at the end of the day we had a great hit out both sides despite the losses, and im bloody sunburnt!!!!

Good result in the As Duncs. But were they full strength?
And if you're sunburnt - then how red is Pag ;)

Yeah my shoulders were a bit pink this morning, nowhere near as bad as Loxton though DW.

Full credit to Elizabeth, they pushed us and were competitive for the entire game. Was interesting to see Chantrelle first hand, had heard a bit about him, rucking probably isn't the best place to have him but with Halliday leaving, didn't really have much choice.

We had 5 of our best 18 out including our centreman (Couzy, for those of you playing at home DW), our CHF and a couple of first-choice backmen not there, as well as another 4 who hadn't played at Loxton or against SMOSH last week, so we weren't too concerned with the result, more about the way which we played. We moved the ball well at times but just didn't do it consistently enough I didn't think. On the whole though we feel we're in OK shape.

Duncs that #7 kid you're talking about is fresh out the Under 17s, and played as a reward for doing a whole pre-season at a decent standard. Won't play A grade during the year I don't think but the experience won't hurt him, as it won't a couple of the other young guys who had a run.

How much has Trent Greenshields put on in the last couple of years? Same for Paradiso? I hadn't seen those boys since playing in the Development squads a few years back and their shapes had changed a bit. Also got a couple of earfuls from Quirky on the boundary line, why wasn't he out there?

Had a look for the #7 in the magoos Duncs but couldn't see it anywhere, what number did you wear? And more importantly mate, tell everyone about my last quarter running special from just inside 50...

Yeah, my jumper was left at the club. I was wearin #23 then #10 in the last quarter. I did see that goal, not bad, looked like one i kicked last year. Princess and Paro have put on some size and have developed into good A grade players. Quirk is a bit of a dick, was pissin a few of us off by the way he carrys on. He won the B grade B&F last year and decided he couldnt be stuffed playin this year.
I am most pleased with Blake Pearce #33 runnin around in the As for us. Only 16 very underdeveloped but has a good brain and will be a gun one day. I have helped him a lot over the last 2 years with his fitness and sprint work so he is sorta like my lil apprentice. hahaha.
Thought ur strength was ur positioning around the packs and vioce, got u a good share of the footy. Good work.

Cheers mate. Was gonna try work out a spot to catch up but couldn't get to the computer on Friday. Yeah I was playing on Blakey for a bit, he will be quality, once he fills out he'll be hard to stop with his pace. Same for, is it Kingy? Running around on the wing, #5 I think, he's got a bit of toe as well, I was chasing him for abou 50m down the outer wing and he just kept pulling away, those two should be top-quality midfielders for the next 10-15 years.

Yes Kingy is quite quick. But he tries to out sprint me at training, cant get close. haha, Blake is right behind him. If i only i could kick, tackle, handball and catch id be A's for sure

Pag'll know that when I tackle and get a hold, you ain't getting away!

At least this time the umpire gave me the correct decision "holding the ball".

Hooks didn't know who it was, and I was on the ground giggling, so he tried to push my head into the ground the bugger!
I think he woulda pushed my head into the ground further if he'd realised who it was!
