good win to south, and once more we see the paper tigers, fold up and blow out of the finials again. 2012, year of the bloods.

Although being shafted all day by the maggots didnt help our cause.

Are you bloody serious, I thought Kirkby must have had photos of the umpires, he was kissed on the dick all day. What about the Panther getting his head knocked off just before 3 qtr time that was given ball. You must be simple.....

You sound far more serious than me champ. Enjoy the victory & chill out.

As for the umpiring, we may not have been shafted ALL DAY, but when we had momentum in the 2nd quarter, umpiring errors went against us badly and cost us a few goals & possibly the lead at half time. After half time, it didnt matter. South were always going to win. They're are an exciting team & were far better than our blokes.

Obviously we see things from our own perspective, but i reckon we could agree that the umpiring was of a generally shite standard either way.

Hopefully South can go further this year, and get a few more folks from down south on the bandwagon for seasons to come.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

Agree leftlegger the ump's appeared to be umpiring scared that the game was about to boil over at any time and therefore seemed to panic at decisions and made shockers for both sides, too whistle happy. Great to hear real support for the blue and whites, well done to two (?) cheer squad groups for making plenty of noise.

would be interested to hear from the Bay's faithful if they still support President Gary Metcalfe, or if there are moves afoot to replace him? From a distance, the place seemed to be the envy of most a couple of seasons back, and now seem to be like watching a train-wreck unfold before your eyes.

Rowe mentioned on radio tonight that he didn't like what he was hearing from down Glenelg from some players.

It's my view that, if it's an on-field train wreck, there probably isn't a lot a president can do about it.

My thoughts exactly Jim05. South had much more desire to win and were first to the ball and harder in the contests. Their small guys were fantastic and the talls did OK too. Congratulations on a great win!

I was impressed with the turnout of South fans, particularly on the members side. Glenelg fans were thinner on the ground than in previous years and very few stayed on for the second game understandably.

I sat in the outer centre wing side and the turnout there of South fans was most impressive.
Furthermore, i was pleasantly surprised by the amount of South team gear that was displayed by those fans (tshirts, caps, scarfs, flags).

On the other side, the lack of Bay supporters in the outer was most apparent (at the time i simply presumed that most of them had congregated on the Footy Park members side but obviously they werent there either). :?
