Remember: ugg boots, blue wife beater singlet, flannelette shirt and a can of Woody are more expensive than Haviana thongs, Cotton-On tank top, a Jay-Jays printed tee and a Skinny Latte.

If you are speaking of your club then fair enough, as i will be honest with you i did seriously consider what your club would pay a bit more than the others but went the "upper echelon" due to fiscal/demographic reasons, it would not surprise me if you were paying considerably less. But when you say dis-service about the other sides i mentioned you can't seriously think that the other clubs mentioned aren't paying more than the figure mentioned.

Extremely hard to saywhat other clubs pay coaches, i would estimate the following -

Higher than $12k - Reynella, Happy Valley, Noarlunga, Brighton, Marion, Morphy Park
Less than $12k - Aldinga, Cove, Port Noarlunga, Flagstaff Hill, E/Town, Lonsdale, Hackham, Morphett Vale, Christies Beach

Morphy Park nowhere near this amount. Well below this $12k benchmark.

Brightons is not close to that. Unless you include his Mcdonalds & KFC vouchers in it

He would like to know what the average going rate is in the SFL.

Snappa I reckon Valleys have only paid above 10K once and that was to Stringer - mind you did win a flag with him so maybe he was worth his weight in beer money ....

Atleast this has provoked some interest, as you will all note i said "Extremely hard to saywhat other clubs pay coaches, i would estimate the following". Now we have Brightons "claim" they are no where near it, Valley now saying the same (although i did know you had paid in the past so figured you may still be paying those figures), Parks also owning up to majority of payments go to players, which leaves Reynella and Noarlunga, of which i know are paid this figure and more. Marion have to be putting their money towards something and if you ask me anything under $25k for this years Marion job would be under paid!

steven certainly earns his money.. coaching 3 grades would be pretty tough. 900 odd hrs easily. As for reynella it could be a bit more i'm told.

From all reports there was a crisis meeting re coaching situation at the shoe last night! Will they ever learn?
I believe Mitton wants the job but some people on the outgoing comittee don't want him around! Can anyone in the know at the shoe inform me of exactly what happened?
