Are you bloody serious, I thought Kirkby must have had photos of the umpires, he was kissed on the dick all day. What about the Panther getting his head knocked off just before 3 qtr time that was given ball. You must be simple.....

I agree. South got a terrible run in the first half! Kirkby was the benefactor of one of the softest free's in a long time in the first quarter when he dived fwd on the half fwd flank after no contact from Crabb. Umpires have to be better than that!

agreed the lyons holding the ball decision is the worst umpiring decision I've seen on 30 yrs of watching sanfl.
He wasnt even tackled!! he was hit in the head with a round arm coathanger from the same fellow who was attempting to knock Joel Cross's head off all day .

I've now read only two pages of this thread, and I simply can not believe Bays clowns think they got the bad run from the umpires. Are metro supporters that dumb!!!!

As a neutral i definately thought South copped the wrong end of most of the decisions but it didnt influence the result at all. South were just too good in most areas, i actually thought the scoreboard flattered Glenelg a little, South looked a 8 or 9 goal better side.

this is not sour grapes i swear on my families lives, but some of the shit i saw and heard from panfer fans after the match was laughable, granted they deserved to win the game, but ffs it was against glenelg!!!!!!!, nothing worse than bad winners i'm tellin' ya

I went today as a neutral observer. I reckon the bays had more supporters at most their home games. I have an average memory stampy but I reckon you've said the same thing in previous years after finals games. I could be wrong.
Well done to south.

ok, lets clear this one up

the only other gripe i have had re opposition supporters when they have won was back in 2008 adelaide oval after the 2nd semi against central when walking out some deadbeat told my son who was 3 at the time that he was a little ******* loser, i presume because he had his glenelg guernsey on, being the hero he was with 3 of his mates, apart from that i havent had a complaint so stop talking shit

Well done South on a great performance hope you can do it again next week. Looked really hungry and desperate to win. Looks like Ron Fuller has got the right attitude happening there among the group so good luck.

Disappointing end to a disappointing season for Glenelg hope this isn't the beginning of a drop down the ladder for them as they got some decent players on that list.

Fantastic win. Our smalls were excellent and it felt as though we always had an extra man around the packs. Once we extracted the footy our skills and ball movement were reasonably good. Wundke and Ainger straighten us up nicely and are starting to work well together.

Horne has strung together his best two games for year during the past fortnight. Liddle superb again. Carey played his best game since crossing over. Stribling has a touch of class about him. The backline was fairly unassuming but went about their job well.

Pleasing to run the game out well given we only had 2 on the bench for 3.5 quarters. Speaking of which, shocking luck for a player that all South supporters respect highly in Thewlis. The only survivor from 2006 and a rare recruit that has stuck through thick and (mostly) thin. Will be a big loss this week.

Sandery looks certain to go. So with Veide’s injury last week, 3 of our regular back 6 will be missing come Sunday.

Quite a good number of South supporters on the outer wing which was great to see. No doubt quite a few band wagoners who dug the scarf out for the first time since 2006. ;)

Can’t say much about the Bays. Didn’t appear to run hard enough and their skills going forward left a lot to be desired.
